Mattoon Pride Softball to host NJCAA D2 Region 24 Softball Tournament

The Mattoon Pride Softball organization is excited to announce they will be hosting the 2019 NJCAA DII Region 24 Softball Tournament.  This will be held at the Roundhouse Complex in Mattoon, IL.  The tournament begins on May 9th and will conclude on May 11.   Region 24 consists of the following schools: Danville Area Community College Heartland Community College Illinois Central College John Wood Community College Lewis & Clark Community College Lincoln Land Community College Parkland College Spoon River College We are currently looking for volunteers to help with this event.  Choose from scoreboard operator, score book keeper, ball retrieval, concessions, trash cleanup, etc...  Any help would be greatly appreciated by not only us, but by the teams competing as well. If you enjoy softball, come out and support these athletes as they compete to advance to the National Championship.  There is no admission fee and concessions will be available for purchase.
